We were joined by over 80 other members of the Enterprise Europe Network from Poland and abroad, which promoted the event among their local companies.
- Participants represent 44 countries from around the world. We have 83 companies from Poland and 254 from other countries. Participants can still send and accept invitations to meetings. During the 1,5 hour of the event as many as 69 meetings took place - says Sławomir Biedermann from the Entrepreneurship Support Department of PARP.
Such a virtual event not only allows to fill the void after 'traditional' stationary events, which cannot take place due to the pandemic, but also make it easier to reach business partners from distant regions of the world - Med2Meet is attended by companies not only from Poland, UK, Germany, Spain, Italy or Romania, but also Tunisia, Sri Lanka, USA and Taiwan.
It is a unique opportunity to establish business relations with foreign partners. - Over the last year, virtual B2B meetings have become the dominant form of meetings with new clients and we have already participated in many such events. Their characteristics are naturally very different from what we were used to, but it also has its advantages, including the possibility of participating in more meetings since we don't have to spend a lot of time travelling - says Mr Mikołaj Glinka from Cross BrainMade in Warsaw, which is one of several hundred entities participating in the ITmatch event.
His colleague from Cross, Mr Tomasz Rabong, who also participates in the ITmatch, adds: - It is a valuable initiative, worth continuing and allowing us to widen our contacts. Our goal at this event is to attract customers and possibly partners for synergy in building offers.
