In 2018, 370.000 people from 106 countries visited the trade fair in Cologne, including over 5.000 industry journalists and around 1.000 exhibitors from 56 countries. This year more than 1.100 exhibitors are expected to showcase their products.
Accrding to game producers and publishers, Gamescom is a great opportunity to present their products to target audience, collect feedback, promote titles and establish relationships with business partners.
Games offered by Polish studios are becoming increasingly recognizable among the worldwide community and appreciated by both players and industry media. During the fair, manufacturers and publishers from our country benefit from the promotional opportunities at the Polish stand, presenting small, independent game developers. The stand is co-organized by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP), together with the Indie Games Poland Foundation, Game Industry Conference, the Polish Institute in Dusseldorf, the Polish Consulate General in Cologne and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.
The Polish pavilion of 320 m2 (including a 50 m2 stand organized by PARP as part of the Polish IT Promotion Program) is located both in the b2b (220 m2) and b2c (100 m2) zones.
In the b2b zone, more than 30 companies and institutions supporting small independent game developers present their offer, including 11 Bit Studio, 7LEVELS, A2 Softworks, AllIn Games, Anshar Studio, ARP games, Artifex Mundi, Baby Bison Games, Black Sail Games, Chaos Forge, Donkey Crew, The Farm 51, Fireart Games, Game Industry Conference, Happy Corruption, Hexy Studio, Indeep Studios, Mass Creation, Monster Couch, North 3D, One More Level, Ovid Works, Pixel Perfect Dude, PlayWay S.A., Punch Punk Games, Roboto Translation, The Knights of Unity, Walkabout, EXOR Studios, Simteract, GRY-OnLine.pl, and Techmo. The following developers present their games in the b2c zone: All in! Games, Black Sail Games, Happy Corruption, The Farm 51, One More Level, Ovid Works, The Knights of Unity.
- This year at Gamescom we are present in the Polish zone located in the business part of the fair. We present, among others, the console version of our PC hit, Frostpunk, the upcoming RPG-action game Children of Morta, which we publish, as well as an add-on to last year's Moonlighter PC version. Interest among journalists is high, so I think we will be visited by representatives of leading industry media. We will also host our hardware partners In the B2B zone - announces Konrad Adamczewski, PR specialist at the 11 bit studios, Warsaw gaming studio.
In addition to the joint Polish stand in hall 4.1, there are 22 individual exhibitors from Poland, including the largest Polish companies in the industry, such as CD PROJEKT RED and CI Games.
Moreover, during Gamescom, the Enterprise Europe Network organizes a matchmaking event, at which companies have the opportunity to present their offer and find potential business partners.
