In 2018, 370.000 people from 106 countries visited the trade fair in Cologne, including over 5.000 industry journalists and around 1.000 exhibitors from 56 countries. This year more than 1.100 exhibitors are expected to showcase their products.
Accrding to game producers and publishers, Gamescom is a great opportunity to present their products to target audience, collect feedback, promote titles and establish relationships with business partners.
Games offered by Polish studios are becoming increasingly recognizable among the worldwide community and appreciated by both players and industry media. During the fair, manufacturers and publishers from our country will benefit from the promotional opportunities at the Polish stand, presenting small, independent game developers. The stand will be co-organized by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP), together with the Indie Games Poland Foundation, Game Industry Conference, the Polish Institute in Dusseldorf, the Polish Consulate General in Cologne and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.
The Polish pavilion of 320 m2 (including a 50 m2 stand organized by PARP as part of the Polish IT Promotion Program) will be located both in the b2b (220 m2) and b2c (100 m2) zones.
In addition to the joint Polish stand in hall 4.1, there will be 22 individual exhibitors from Poland, including the largest Polish companies in the industry, such as CD PROJEKT RED and CI Games.
Moreover, during Gamescom, the Enterprise Europe Network will organize a matchmaking event, at which companies will have the opportunity to present their offer and find potential business partners.
